Week 8: Integrating Photoshop & Illustrator Files
It is amazing what you can do with the combination of the tools Illustrator and Photoshop have combined, and what you can do when you move files around between one and the other. I had a lot of fun with this assignment!
Some time ago for study music I made a Tangerine Dream station on Pandora but I wasn't happy with how the tangerine was looking in the banner for that one, so I put an old Moog in there instead (from Britannica.com). As a cellist, I felt a classical station would be fun too, so I found a cellist, a violinist and a flautist; the classical percussionist image I had did not make the cut unfortunately. The intense singer image is Tim Kasher from the band Cursive in Chicago. I have no idea what he sounds like but it was my favorite singer photo, heavily photoshopped.
So the leftover tangerine was begging for me to do something with it. So I did, and getting carried away with it made that into a more magical fruit than beans I suppose.
One of the photos I took of my daughter for Media 175 (digital photography) a few weeks ago had a very similar angle to this week's Tutorial 5 for Media 110. Again, it's one of those things where I kept going a bit beyond where I could have stopped but in the end it is a lot of fun!
